Job

I wish I had an American citizenship. I could make twice as much. But I don't, so I am here. But I'll get there....hopefully. I just want to work somewhere where I can use my language skills a little more.

Really? Our experience with citizenship is that it doesn't really matter, at least not financially. So you can vote, big deal, and you have to pay taxes anyway, so why bother?

Of course, we never worked for the government. Maybe there it matters.

Yes it matters with the government and that's where I would like to work, or at least for a contractor, but a lot of the interesting positions are for U.S. citizens only.

This is normal. You have to be a citizen to work for the government. I don't think this has to do with 9-11.
