I have to get going.
Hope all of you have a wonderfull extended weekend.I knowI will.

Who cares if he advertises for Gillette? I keep reading it all over the place. I want some more stories about him cheating on Posh Spice.

I made it

Just went outside and got my stuff at CVS. I think I know how you stop them cicadas from landing on you. You just have to walk fast enough. So, if you see a crazy German girl running through DC, that's me.
But they are so distracting. I had $21 in cash and my total came to $22 something. So, of course I had to do ask the Lady at the cash register to return one item. When I walked out I realized that I could have paid with my debit card. Stupid.

I am hot

You know how you sometimes feel really good about yourself? Your clothes seem to be working good together and your hair stays in place. I feel really good today. I don't know but that's how I feel.
Maybe it has something to do with the long weekend coming up or it being Friday????

F1 blogging

I just came accross this blog. I still have to add it to my blogroll, but there is a lot of good information about Fromula 1. I have to see though if I like their opinions ;)

UPDATE: Done. I added them to my blogroll.

Lunch Time!!!

Guess what I'm having.......

I hate them.
After several people told me about their experiences with them I finally had my own close encounter with one yesterday. In an elevator. Could you imagine being stuck with one in an elevator? Some lady had it on her shoulder and realized as the doors were about to close. She shook it off and me and a girl from work stared screaming like girls (hmmm...). She started to push all the buttons on the elevator until they all started blinking. We made it though. But now I can't even get into an elevator without looking around me and especially at the people's shoulder that get in there with me.
I can't wait until those damn things are gone. I hate bugs.

Alright folks. I am out of here.

Now that is an interesting one.

Pizza-makers beware: Italy has issued strict guidelines to protect the real Neapolitan pizza from bogus copies.

Now I don't know what to think of this.....

I am running behind ion everything today. What a couple of minutes of a train delay can do to mess up your day.
I expect everything to calm down though after lunch.
Funny thing is, I thought I had to finish a certain thing by the end of them month and I just noticed I already did it!!!!! Fells good to get things done.

YEAH! Another meeting. Of course, just 30 minutes before I have to go which means I will be late again. But I don't care. I'll leave early tomorrow. What bothers me is that we never get any advance notice on these. Thanks.
So, later.

Sorry about the very late post this morning (it is still morning), but I got busy with so much stuff. It always gets like this towards the end of the month, but usually I find some time to breath.
Oh well. But I am still alive!!!

Out of Here.

Just when I am getting to the point where I am looking forward to a little cool-down I read this.
I have been in this area for almost five years now and I am pretty sure that each of those years there is some record-breaking weather event. Last year was "unusually cool" and we had Isabel, although the DC area got lucky. The year beforee that was hot.
You know, I don't think that these events are unusual. All those "weather people" just don't have an idea what usual is.

It's somebody's Birthday!!!

Please go over to The Goddess Dawn and wish here a very Happy Birthday.

Three's a Charm

Well, yesterday we had the third person finding their way over here looking for kids in wet clothes.
I am telling you I don't have any here!!! All I have are stepchildren but I am pretty sure their clothes are dry. OK?

I fell for it

Just was over at Ted's and he pointed to this post at Wizbang about something that I fell for.
Oh well, I never said I was perfect.

Damn Right!!

Another little article concerning last weekend's Formula One race at Monaco.
I still can't believe that Alonso tried to pass Ralf in the tunnel, but I guess he got what he deserved for his stupidity.

Monday, May 24, 2004

I know I said this before but today I really mean it. Finally I get to go home. I just can't wait. I don't want to go out in the heat though, but I gladly do that to get home.
Hopefully by tomorrow my energy has returned.

Not Again

That happened already.
What the hell is your porblem?????

I knew it

Diamonds might be forever but not when embedded in the nose of a Formula One racing car, as the Jaguar team discovered.

The car company was left reflecting Monday on a costly Monaco Grand Prix after a £140,000 ($200,000) gem had gone missing when Austrian driver Christian Klien crashed his car nose first into the guardrail at the Loews hairpin.

When I was watching the race yesterday and he crashed I thought that one they would never find that thing....Lucky for the one who'll find it.

BTW: I have so much more to say about the race, but I am just too tired to pull myself together for a long post.
Heiko Hebig has a pretty short, but nice post about it.

Monday from Hell

That's what it is. For whatever reason, I have no time (AGAIN) whatsoever. Lunch is almost over and I still haven't posted until now.
I am so grumpy today, but that'll stop hopefully as soon as I get out of here and can at least leave that stress behind me.
What a day.
But I know that next week will be fun. Just three days of work....AND a long weekend!!!

It is hot here. I usually like it warm and am not the first one to complain about the warm weather, but this is getting really bad.
On Saturday we did some yard work and of course I got a real nice sun burn. My shoulders and neck are fried, which really felt good this morning carrying my shoulder bag around with me....But I guess it's my fault anyways. But the yard looks so nice. My husband worked his a** off. I wasn't able to hang in there that long, especially after I started feeling dizzy (NOT good in the heat). But we are done and can now enjoy it all. Maybe a couple more plants here and there but the major parts are all done.

Good Bye

My work day is over. Now the fun starts!!!

It's somebody's Birthday!!!

So why don't you go over to SilverBlue and wish him a Happy Birthday?

I haven't seen any of them

Have you?

Maryland's agriculture officials dispatched an alert to the public Thursday: beware of the giant African land snail.
The Maryland Department of Agriculture is asking schoolteachers and the public to help in the search for the snails. The state is assisting the U.S. Department of Agriculture in a nationwide call to find and assess the size and location of the population of the snail in the United States.

Need Rest

It's just one of those days again. I feel like I am constantly going and all of a sudden it's lat. I really need some rest and can't wait until I get home. Tomorrow should be fun though since we (the place I work at) is going out after lunch....

Busy, Busy, Busy!

Man, Finally I have some time to breath. I figured I have some time since I am on lunch. I hope that before I leave today I can post at least once more. Not like yesterday; I got so busy that I almost forgot to go that's scary.

I just realized that Annika added me to her blogroll. Thanks!!

Happy Father's Day!!!!

Today is Father's Day in Germany. Here is an explanation as to what this means.

According to Ontario police, 27-year-old Amy Logue called the police station three times trying to arrange the drug deal.

That's what I'll have for lunch today. Can't wait.

I also have a couple of posts that I am trying to get out. I hope I find the time.

A three year old girl was abandoned by her family and now the Department of Social Services is trying to find them.
People in Maryland and in New York have seen the pictures of a little Brooklyn girl who was abandoned in Baltimore nearly 10 days ago. However, social services officials said they are no closer to finding her family.

If you know her, please call the Department of Social Services at (410) 361-2235

I hate Hair

I hate my hair. Every time I brush my hair it just keeps falling out and I find it everywhere on me, in my house and on my family. I used to have VERY long hair and then got tired of it and cut it VERY short. That was fun for a while, especially during the summer, but eventually I decided to grow it back out. Not I am at the point again where short hair would be very nice. BUT I am going to be strong and let it grow, but I'll keep bitching about it. OK?

Somebody is eating fries here.....not that bad. Worst thing is when people have popcorn. That smell makes me sick. Yuck!

empty head

I have empty-head-syndrome. It's sooooo empty in there it's not even funny.
Just one of those days. Although did start really good. I got enough sleep, got up in time, coffee was great this morning....nothing to complain about. But then I got off my nice VRE and had to use the Metro with its delays and PEOPLE. BUT.....I get to go home early today and that keeps me going.
I guess my head isn't that empty after all.

Fun Summer!!!!

Looks like we'll be enjoying our summer....
Isabel didn't really hurt us but I know a lot of people are still trying to recover from that one. The last thing they need is another one.

Leaving early

Well after yesterday's little extended workday I'll be leaving early today. Fair enough.
Nothing else to report from the front here. Everything seems to be going smooth.
hope your day is nice too.

Not much

Not much more going here, but that's ok. That means that I hopefully get out of here on time, which just adds to the quiet and fairly OK Monday.

UPDATE: Right when I posted this I get an e-mail saying that somebody was going to be here in 10-15 minutes (that was about 20 minutes ago) and wouldn't it be nice for me to say Hi. Thanks for letting me know, because I don't have a life at all and love to stay longer here all the time, especially without any advance notice. Thank you.
Tomorrow I'll leave early without telling anybody. HAH

A man who cooked and ate nearly 30 cicadas sought medical treatment after suffering a strong allergic reaction to the sauteed insects.
The man showed up at a Bloomington clinic Thursday covered from head-to-toe in hives, and sheepishly told a doctor he'd caught and ate the cicadas after sauteing them in butter with crushed garlic and basil.

Well, I saw this headline this morning about how the director of Troy made Brad Pitt take his clothes off and all. So, it wasn't really interesting.....But still I can't find it anymore. I might as well post about Brad Pitt's nakedness since I don't have anything else to say.
(You think I get some google hits????)

Spoke from My Heart

It is so true. When you're using the Metro in DC you can tell when Spring comes. It usually starts around the time the Cherry Blossoms start to come out. And it's not only that tourists are standing on the left side and wonder why you ask them to move over (as in "come'on we're on a vacation"), but then they decide to walk in rows of four or five taking up the walkway at a speed I would never make it home in.
I am very impatient when it comes to people blocking MY way in public. I try to be mindful of people that may want to pass me (although that is almost impossible since I am the FASTEST)or when people want to get off the metro or whatever, but please use your eyes because your not the only person out there and nobody gives a shit about you anyways.
I also would like to add that every once in a while you get a real dumbass who lives and works here (at least so it seems) and does the same stupid thing.
I could just go on and on about that, but I have to get back to work or I might have a heart attack.

Living under a rock

See, that's why it bothers me when parents refuse to teach their children about sex, not birds and bees all that crap, but real sex. No matter how old they are. It's the dumbest thing people could do to their children...Well there are much dumber things, but that's stupid and irresponsible.

We installed three ceiling fans over the weekend. And when I say we I mean we. Although I did hardly any work other than giving my opinion on how it might have to be wired. Of course the first fan was the hardest. It took about three or four tries until we finally had everything hooked up right. The stupid thing is you get a white (neutral), green (ground), blue (light) and black (motor) wire with the fan. BUT our option were a bare (ground), white (neutral), black and red wire to connect them to. Well, we figured out that the black wire is constant hot, so you can't control it with the light switch, which we didn't want. So, the red one is the one for the switch and that is where the fan motor and light get connected to and the black one just gets stuffed back into the ceiling.
So, I learned something new over the weekend, which I am sure I will forget the next tie such knowledge is required.

Getting Ready!!!

Well folks. It's time to go or at least to start getting ready. Great day and I hope the evening is going to go even better.

Geez. What a day. So, what time is it? Almost time to go!!! The weekend is near.
I really can't wait. But I got a lot of stuff done today and I feel good about it. That'll make me feel better starting the weekend.

Ok, I did have lunch, but spent it paying bills. Now it's back to work.
You know, sometimes Fridays seems to be the most productive days for me. Every day should be Friday, except Saturday or Sunday.

Quick hello.
I am really busy this morning. I'm trying to get a lot of stuff done.
It's such a beautiful day. I can't wait for the weekend.

It's Time

Well people, I am packing my bags and leave.
Today was a good day. I can't wait to get home and enjoy the rest of it. I think I'll spend most of the evening alone but that's ok. A nice glass of wine will keep me company.

Good Cause

Bill offers a really good opportunity for you to make a difference.
Go over there and read about it.
It's about Operation Smile, an organization his wife is working for.

BTW: This is my 400th post!!!!!! And it's a good one too.

No Blogroll :(

My Blogrolls are gone....what to do?????
Oh well, I don't have time for this. Plus it's probably some problem they're having. So, I just have to wait and see.
SiteMeter is still MIA.

????Wrong time again.......

UPDATE: It's back!!!!!

UPDATE: Now, it's gone again....

That is the song I was talking about the other day. Well actually I was looking for the artist's name. It's Regy Clasen. The song is so beautiful. She sings in German, but you should still listen to it.
Here is the link to a short version of it.
Also, go to her site. There doesn't seem to be anything in English though.

Did you see that?????

Now the clock seems to be working.
I don't get it....
And I didn't even go to the settings.

There goes that stupid clock again. I think it has a hard time with afternoons....

I just wanted to welcome my beloved husband to this blog. He has been here before but it has been a while.
I don't think he'll show up again today but maybe.
WELCOME sweetheart!!!!! You can comment too if you want to....

Nothing else going on here.
My stomach seems to be better so I hope that'll be it for today.

My stomach hurts now. Great. What else????
I hope I make it through the day.

Wish List

Remember that post the other day with all those books? Well, I made it my goal to read them all. Not right now, but over time. So, I decided to put them on my Amazon Wish List (there's no link here, since I don't ask for hand-outs...yet). The problem is that those are a lot of books and unless I am completely stupid the only way I see I can do is, by looking up the book and adding it to my wish list. I started yesterday and currently I am at Hardy, Thomas - Tess of the d'Urbervilles , so not even half way through. Plus I now have already 9 pages of stuff on my wish list and I still want them all.

I have a big, bad headache.
It started yesterday right when I was leaving work but it wasn't too bad then. I went home and didn't take anything, since I was going to go to bed soon and I don't like to take pills and medication in general. So, when I woke up this morning it was even worse. I took some Tylenol, but it still hurts like hell.
I hate headaches.

UPDATE: It's all gone!!!!! Seems sometimes pills do the trick but I still don't like them. So, back to work!!!!

Wednesday, May 12, 2004

Now it says 4:30????
I don't get it.
OK, I'm done.
Ciao. Again.

My clock doesn't work :(

I just realized that my clock, or time stamp doesn't work. It says I just posted the last post at 3:38 PM but it was 4:28 PM, but I selected Eastern Time. What the hell is wrong??? Was it like that before and I was just too dumb to see it? Well, that'll be something to mess with tomorrow.
I am getting ready to go. We're having salad tonight. But with Roast Beef!!!! We made a huge roast this Sunday and now we are eating it all week. FUN. But tomorrow we'll shred it with some barbecue sauce and put it in hot dog buns. We'll also have some cole slaw and baked beans. I can't wait!!!!
Ok, I am out of here.

TV is in

Ok, well when I get home this afternoon I get to see the new TV finally in it's right spot. I guess the guySSSS were able to lift the monster up and it is now all connected (don't want to forget that!) and ready to go. Of course, this happens on a Wednesday when absolutely nothing is on TV. But then again the weather is nice (at least once it's dark) that I'd rather sit outside anyways.
Almost time to go!!!!!

Blog Movie

Salem Pax's blog is to be made into a movie.

With the new template I finally am able to have comments. I use Squawkbox before to have comments but decided to leave it out now. But now I have pretty much lost all of those old comments which really bugs me. I don't know what to do about that one.
The other thing with the comments which I don't like is that you can't leave your URL etc. on there, but I could live with this, since I don't even know how much longer I want to stay with Blogger anyways.
So, that is my little bitch-session for today (or now).
I really do like it and it looks a lot better, but I still want to move.....

New Addition to the Blogroll

I have added David's Medienkritik to my blogroll. Even though it is a German blog the posts are in English. It is a very good source of German News, I think. Take a look and judge for yourselves.

Sad Good-Bye

SilverBlue has a very very good post about the loss of common sense.
Just makes you scratch year head, doesn't it?

Look what I can do!!!!!

I felt like a change and since the great Blogger changed over the weekend I thought about changing as well.
Look I have real comments now! And doesn't it look realy spring-like?
I like it.
And I was able to move all of the other scripts without any problems. I was done in just an hour.

Getting Ready!!!

I'm almost done here.
It's about time. I am getting hungry again. Something is wrong with me.
Lately I have had a huge craving for some good-old McDonald's. Maybe I should convince my lovely husband to stop by there on the way home. That sounds good.
We'll see.

I hate this Time

You know when something is about to come up and it's ok when you're busy but when you just finished something really important and you feel like you have been working really hard and you look at the clock and you still have so much time. I hate that, because it makes you think you didn't really do anything.
But I don't want to complain. Today was a good day (is a good day). I got so much done without stressing out. I feel so much better than I did yesterday. I actually can't wait to get home and enjoy my evening.

Oh and the TV is still not where it's supposed to be. I guess FOUR(!!!!!) people will come over tomorrow morning and get that sucker up there. Stupid. Why do people need big TVs? I like the other one just fine. But then again, I know I'm inviting all kinds of comments about the necessity of big TVs here. Bring it on!

Sie kommen!!!!!!!

Was wir hier alles zu bekaempfen haben. Gar nicht lustig. Gar nicht.

For my English-speaking readers:
The cicadas are coming!!!!

Got 'Em

Just got my Powerball tickets (I'm on a roll). Since I won $7 I figured I re-invest my winnings. A $10 Million jackpot wouldn't be bad either.

That is so nice.

Hole in the Shirt

Ok, so I just realized I have a huge hole in my cardigan, right at the elbow. This sucks because I wear it at work all the time since it is so comfortably cool in here.
While I was wondering how I got a hole in my cardigan, resting my elbow on the desk I realized that this is why. Now, I really understand all those geeks with elbow pads on their jackets.

Well, it's time to go shopping!!!!!

I really do like the new statcounter. Especially now, that my Sitemeter has ran away, but the statcounter also lists the countries my visitors come from and after not even a month I am pretty surprised from where all those people are coming.
Just look at it:

The last one was from Poland. Now that they're in the EU and all.....

Much Better

I slept so good last night. I feel so much better.
Let's hope this day will be more productive.

It is Time

Felt like I worked twice as much today, but it is finally over. What a day. The worst Monday ever.
I'll be back.

That's what most of today's post have been, but I really was not able to put any thoughts together.

One funny thing though. Remember I said we'll get a new TV. Well, my husband went and got it and now he can't get it in the TV niche, or whatever the hell you call that opening above the fireplace. I fits but it weights a ton and so tomorrow he'll try it again with more help. I wish I could see that.

Other than that, I feel better but I am still very tired. I really don't want to go outside in the heat but if it takes me home, I'll endure it.

I knew it

ZEP DYNA 170°:
You are used when a low-VOC solvent degreaser is required, and are designed specifically for use in Zep's Brake Buggy and "Dyna" lines of parts washing systems. You have a relatively low evaporation rate. You are RCRA Non Hazardous and USDA authorized-K2.
Find out what kind of industrial solvent you are

Found over at Pixy's

UPDATE: I knew I was tired and all that, but stupid? Well, I just realized that I used the same title as Pixy. Well, OOOPS I didn't mean to. Maybe I should start reading posts better rather than just scanning them when I'm in a hurry or tired or both. Sorry.

More Bitching

To keep the trend of negative posts up for today, I figured I'd better complain again about how tired and without any energy I am today.
I was going to go outside and take care of some things but it is way too hot outside and that won't help me either.
I had also planned on staying a little longer today but I am starting to think that the opposite will take place. Usually I am all fine by this time when I have bad Mondays, but I don't think I'll get over this. I can't wait for my bed tonight. I hear it calling already.

Well, I seem to be doing not as bad as thought. I am still tired as hell, even after three cups of coffee, but I am getting hungry and we all know, if we can eat, we're doing fine.

That was a nice long sentence.

Did you ever hear the question, if you ever loved somebody so much that you could cry?
I just think that is the most wonderful way to describe the way you love somebody.

New TV

We are going to get a new TV today!!!!
While I would write an extended description here right now, I just don't have the energy right now.
I have absolutely o idea what is wrong but I don't seem to get over it.

Also, I got kind of depressed last night, thinking about my mom and how much I miss her. If I could I would just pack everything up and go back to Germany. It has been almost 5 years since I moved here. It must be so saddening to not have your child close to you. Weekly phone calls and e-mail don't really help. You can't really hug somebody over the Internet.
Sometimes life just sucks.

Bad Monday

I am soooo tired. I wish I could just go back to bed.
I woke up at about 2:30 and it seems like two minutes later the alarm went off. I hate Mondays. Even though it is warm and nice and sunny outside it did not help me today.
And I'm grumpy.

Sunday, May 09, 2004

I won!!!!!

Told you so.....I won $7. At least I got my money back and some change.

Note: I believe this would be a rare, if not my first weekend post.

Gotta Go

Something's fishy

I had ONE visitor today and for the last 3 hours or so I did not receive one single Spam mail in either my hotmail or gmail account. Now, something is going on here.

My new favorite song

Well actually it's two. One, that's on the Radio right now (Radio Hamburg from Hamburg Germany), is "Fuck It" by Eamon. I am trying to find the other one right now. I can't find her name but the song is called "Endlich" (German for finally) and it's kind of jazzy, hip hop -ish. I like it. I looked her up yesterday and now I can't find her name anywhere.
Well, I'll find it.

Who stole it????

Somebody took my Sitemeter and I want it back!
Believe me, you don't want to see me mad.

Would it be possible?

To just sneak out of here and start the weekend just a little early? I don't think so, but at least I can dream about it. Whatever I thought earlier is not true. This day is yet another slow one. I think I am just way too full of energy in the morning and I get so much stuff done and then once I ate lunch I feel like taking a nap and end up just looking at the clock. Well, I do some work, but all of the morning energy is completely gone. Especially on Fridays.

Anybody out there?

UPDATE: Thanks to the one person finding his or her way over here through Ted.
Ha, I knew it was you.

Almost there!

I just hope that the rest of the day passes as quickly and quietly as it has been. I really can't wait to get home and relax. I finally got my adapter for the Ethernet Port yesterday so I get to hook up my Router tonight.
This weekend we'll clean the house. I do the bathrooms and laundry (as always) and y husband will do all the floors and some cabinets. I hope we're done with this by tomorrow afternoon so we can enjoy the rest of the weekend.
other than that nothing big is planned this weekend. My mom already got her flowers and loves them, although she is mad at me for spending money....but then she says that with everything because she "never" wants any present. Right.
So, so far it's been a good day.

No More :(

Too bad, but there will be no more Friday Five.
I can understand it though. Who knows, maybe somebody else will come up with something.

Kids in Wet Clothes?

I swear. Somebody searched for that and somehow ended up over here. People do the weirdest things.

After painful waiting and unendurable work, I am finally ready to go home and actually enjoy the rest of the day.
Something is wrong with the trains though. Nothing delayed but they said to expect crowding. Well, I better be getting a spot to sit or I am gonna go postal. Poor me.

S-L-O-W Day

I am telling you. I am either starting a new phase or the last couple of weeks are just passing by way too slowly.
Do you remember when you were little and time just flew by? And now that you're older it just takes more time. See, I think I am at the next step where time goes by slower. Whatever, but lately I really feel like I am too much away from home.

Time to say Good Bye

Well, tonight is the last episode of our beloved Friends and I figured I better post something to bring a little entertainment in here.
James has a very good list of links that you guys might enjoy.
I don't want to dwell on how great Friends is and how much I will miss it and now my Thursdays are just going to be bleak (not! CSI is still on). I just wanted to say that it is kind of sad but it's a TV show. I like it but I don't depend on it.
I must confess though I do have all of their seasons on DVD, that is up to the 7th, since the rest is not released yet. I also just pre-ordered their farewell DVD or whatever the heck it is, but I am not going to cry...really. Well, maybe a little.

Ok, there goes the entertainment post, but at least I posted something, right?

Look at the Time!!!!

Oh am I glad. My stomach started making all those weird noises and I was getting worried I wasn't going to make it. I'll have a nice salad, my husband made for me last night. I didn't want to eat it then (no green food for me, thank you very much) so he made me take it to work today. Isn't he sweet? But to balance all that healthy food out I also have a big bowl of mac & cheese. Did I ever mention that I put lots of ketchup in my mac & cheese? It is so yummy.
Ok, better get ready. LUNCH TIME!!!!!

Got 'em

Ok, I just went to get my Powerball tickets. Jackpot's at $205 Million. I got five tickets this time so maybe I'll get at least a couple of bucks. The store was packed too. It wasn't even open for more than 40 minutes and there must have been about 10 people in line. It's gonna get full there. I almost want to go there at lunch just to see how many people fit in there....
So, if you won't hear from me for a while after Saturday, I'll be traveling the world. But first I have to get a lawyer and financial consultant. I take applications now.

Almost the weekend!!

This week seems slow somehow.
I don't know why but I keep thinking it's Friday. Oh well, it is really beautiful outside today. It's supposed to be in the upper 70's this afternoon which sounds like an evening on the porch to me.
I have to call my insurance company AGAIN today since they keep changing my address back to the old one. About every day I get policy change letter in the mail because of the address.

I am almost done reading my book, which will complete the Vampire Chronicles for me. I am getting anxious though because my Amazon order hasn't arrived yet, so I might have to go to Borders across the street. We'll see. At the latest I'll go tomorrow and then I am sure tomorrow evening I'll get my shipment.

Don't forget that Mother's Day is coming up!!! You better be nice! It's kind of funny because I am "just" a step mom, but I do get a little something and I think it's so sweet. Last year they got me a new flat screen monitor!!! Cool, ey?
I am so happy because I ordered those beautiful flowers for my mom. I had to have them delivered tomorrow though, since they don't deliver on Sunday's in Germany and on Saturday my parents won't be home. But still. Gotta love the Internet. It's cool too, because I always though it would cost way too much to order CDs at but it really isn't that expensive so I'll be putting an order together over there. The stupid thing is though that the wish lists are different. I have to keep two separate ones, but oh well.

Ok, that's it for now. I really need to get some work done today or else I feel worthless.

No Money!!

Not even a buck. Stupid Lottery. I was so sure I would win. But luckily nobody else did either so I guess Saturday is the big day!!!!!

The end is near

Well it's actually here.
Had a great day although it was long. I can't wait to go home and EAT! I am starving. Maybe I'll have a nice glass of wine or two. There should be an open bottle somewhere, but then there's always a bottle open at my house.

All gone

Ok, well no more gmail for all of you out least not from me.

I know why

Just found that article via The Drudge Report.
A 14-year-old girl was beaten unconscious by several other girls at a chaperoned dance for middle school honors students, police said.

This happened at a dance for honor roll students. Not that they are any better, but usually you find that those students stay out of trouble because they concentrate on school and don't have any time for teenage bullshit. Note, this does not apply to my stepdaughter. She still gets in trouble. More on that later.
But You know why? Because of the "everybody-wins policies". They let almost the whole school go to those dances because almost everybody makes honor roll. Not just A students or A/B students.
Back to my stepdaughter, she made the A, B, C+ honor roll! Not that wasn't great effort and we are proud but it doesn't teach anything to kids. So what's next? ABCDF? Stupid.

One to go...

Ok you people, I only have one gmail account left now.
Doesn't anybody want their privacy to be invaded???
Remember, you can never have enough e-mail accounts.

Slow Down!!!!

Not everybody at once. So many people want those gmail accounts. NOT.
Well fine then, I keep 'em all.

No More

I am drained and ready to go.

I'm gonna be rich!!!!!

Just bought some Powerball tickets!!!!!
For tomorrow's drawing the jackpot is at $170 Million.

Anybody want gmail?????

I just saw that I can invite two people to join the wonderful and great world of gmail.
Anybody interested?
If not, I could sell it on ebay, not?

UPDATE: Just e-mail, me at

Do you know that when all of a sudden everything turns chaotic???
Ok, so last night we get ready to go to bed. 10.5 is over we turn the TV off and my husband remembers to take the trash out since tomorrow is trash day. I say that I'll get the new trash bags from the basement since we're out upstairs. Well, where did I put them? See, we had a roll of trash bags when we moved, but I buy those in bulk so I usually have a box full of those, but I can't find them. So, we look all over the house. ALL over. But no trash bags. I feel bad because I know there were there but I must have misplaced them and we look for something that we could use instead for now. After a while we decide we look in the garage again since we had all of those boxes sitting there and maybe we missed that one. No. No trash bags. So, we decide that it really was time to go to sleep now and.....locked the garage keys!!!! Fun, ey?
So, what shall we do? Daughter sleeps upstairs but hardly ever wakes up with an alarm clock. It's raining outside. So, my husband goes around the house and rings the door bell, calls for his daughter and after about 15 minutes I hear that he is inside. He opens the door, let's me in and we go to bed an hour after we planned to do so without accomplishing anything. Boy, did I have a good night sleep.

It's Time

I'll go bak to my screwed up computer at home...

That is all I can say. I feel really dumb. So, I went out and got my cable modem and because I am very "safe" I decided to get a Router too, since that one has a firewall as well. Well, wouldn't you know that my stupid f*****g computer doesn't have an Ethernet port thingie. How stupid am I, so I bought an adapter today. But my USB Hub is acting up, my PC doesn't see it anymore. It says that the connection speed is too low. I had that before and all I did was restart the computer and unplug the hub and then plug it back in when I needed it. Well, surely I will not run modem using that hub. After all I do have two slots, but I have a printer that uses a USB cable, pus I only have one printer port but two printers and then I have my digital camera. So many things and I am the stupid idiot trying to figure it all out. Soon, I will have that whole computer completely destroyed because I don't know anything about it but act like it.
And what was my solution? I am looking around for a new computer, but I don't need an extra monitor since I already have one extra one in the basement. I don't know.
I need a really good book to read that'll teach me something more about all that. All those "Computer 101" books at home just don't do it for me....or maybe I just never really read them.

For some reason I thought I ahd posted a very witty post already, bu NO, I forgot!!!!!! So of course now I am completely thoughtless and have absolutely nothing to write about.
Nice weekend. Got my cable modem and installed everything just fine...well a little trouble but I figured it out and fixed it.
